Maple Popcorn

  • 15c Popcorn

  • 1/2c Melted Butter

  • 1c Maple Syrup

  • 1/3c Light Corn Syrup

  • 1/2t Salt

  • 1/8t Cream of Tartar

  • 1/4t Baking Soda

Preheat oven to 200 degrees farienheight. Spread popcorn in two 9x13 pans. Combine butter, maple syrup, corn syrup, salt and cream of tartar in a large saucepan and heat to 236-240 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. Pour Over popcorn, stirring well to coat. Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
